DELAC wins S.A.F.E. as main sponsor and patron of the Bonner Eichrechtstage

Press release 2 September 2025 (Berlin/Bonn) – At their annual general meeting in Berlin today, the members of S.A.F.E. e.V. unanimously decided to support the Bonner Eichrechtstage (BET) as their main sponsor and patron in future.

The Bonner Eichrechtstage are an established specialist forum focusing on calibration law-compliant charging infrastructure in electromobility. They bring together experts from industry, public authorities and politics, including manufacturers of charging systems, CPOs, providers of backend and payment solutions, conformity assessment bodies and representatives from market surveillance and legislation. The aim is to establish a consensus-based, practical dialogue on the further development of metrology law in the field of charging infrastructure.

‘In recent years, the BET has established itself as a central platform for qualified, solution-oriented exchange,’ explains Hauke Hinrichs, Chairman of the Board of S.A.F.E. e.V. ‘The decision to become a patron is an expression of our commitment to actively shaping issues that are not directly related to our transparency software and the OCMF. In this way, we are joining forces for a common cause.’

"From the very beginning, the BETs have been a matter close to our hearts – from practice for practice. The partnership with S.A.F.E. shows that the will to cooperate is there, and we are now working together to create the structures for this. Our goal remains clear: a neutral, solution-oriented platform for all players in the charging infrastructure ecosystem," adds Checrallah Kachouh, co-initiator and main moderator of the Bonner Eichrechtstage (BET) and managing director of DELAC GmbH.

The event series was originally launched by Checrallah Kachouh and Mathias Laubenstein and has been organised by DELAC GmbH since 2023. The last event took place in July 2025 at the premises of Comfortcharge GmbH in Bonn – with around 90 participants from 70 companies and organisations, 14 specialist presentations, seven preparatory work packages and intensive exchanges between industry, authorities and testing institutions.

The partnership with S.A.F.E. will further strengthen the future of the Bonner Eichrechtstage in terms of both organisation and content. The next event is planned for January 2026, with a focus on the implementation of new standards, simplified testing procedures and practical solutions for the benefit of all market players.
